Cultural Family Celebration
To celebrate our differences at the end of our social studies unit on families and cultures, we had a Cultural Family Celebration. Each family brought in their favorite family recipe to share with our class and Ms. Bivens' class. What delicious recipes! We had a great time celebrating our differences!
Grease is the Word...
We celebrated our 50th day of school 50's style...the kids had a blast as they dressed in 50's clothing, danced at a Sock Hop, sipped rootbeer floats, ate a diner-style lunch complete with retro car food holders, hula-hooped, chewed Bazooka bubblegum, watched High School Musical, and did many math activities with the number 50! We can't wait until our 100th day of school!!
